Regularity & Conduct

  1. Students who have been absent from class for any length of time must have the reasons for their absence briefly noted in their Regularity record provided in the Calendar.
  2. Reasons of a private nature may be intimated by letter. However, the number of days of absence must be recorded in the Regularity record of the School Diary.
  3. 'Birthday Celebration, excursions', 'marriage' are not sufficient reasons to justify absence from school. Absence from the school in order to study is not allowed. No leave of absence is granted without a prior application in writing from the parent / guardian.
  4. Students must be punctual in class. To be admitted to the classroom, students who have been absent and latecomers must present their regularity records duly signed by the Principal I Vice Principal, to their respective class teachers.
  5. No student is allowed to leave the school premises except on the strength of a written request by the parent /guardian and due authorization from the principal / Vice principal.
  6. No books, newspapers, periodicals or magazines of objectionable nature shall be brought into the school. Any printed material for private reading must be submitted to the principal / vice principal for approval.
  7. Electronic gadgets, including mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the school premises. Violation of this rule will lead to confiscation of the items and immediate suspension.
  8. Students are responsible for the safe custody of their own books and belongings. Each article must be legibly marked with the student's Name, class and section. The wearing of jewelry and costly ornaments and carrying of excess money is not allowed. The responsibility for the loss or misplacement of any of the above rests with the parents / students.
  9. Parents and Guardians are not allowed to meet their wards or interview Teachers during school hours.
  10. Every student of this school is obliged to participate in all school activities. It is obligatory for all students to participate in the qualifying rounds I stages of the Inter-house activities regardless of their personal abilities or talent.
